$50 holding fee per session is required for scheduling.

The balance must be paid 48 hours before the session.

Headshot Information/Process:

I have been a headshot photographer for about 10 years now. I have found that it's best to come as you are, and bring your children as they are. I have a very relaxed approach to kids headshots and I want your child to have the same experience. We will even have a little fun along the way. Once the retainer is paid, I will help you with clothing selection. All agencies have different specifications and it's important to make clothing choices based on your child's strengths and look!

Clothing:

Ideally you want to have bright, jewel toned fitted outfits. Think green, blue, dark pink, yellow, orange, purple. Avoid white, grey, pastels, distracting patterns. Black is ok for an edgy look. We can work together pulling clothes from your wardrobe and I can suggest specific pieces to add. Stripes or non-distracting prints are great as well. I can send you samples once a deposit is paid.

I now offer complete clothing consulting where I will pre-purchase the clothes and either send them to you for sizing and approval or bring them the day of the shoot. *Each shoot will be determine by agency, etc. Cost for wardrobe is $30 per look.

Shoot:

Your shoot time is not your arrival time, it is your start time. Most of the time it's best to be at the location a few minutes early to get your child changed or acclimated to the area. Please bring light "cheerio" type snacks and water for your child. Please no candy or bribing until the end :). Please avoid additional family members without prior communication before the shoot. Please do not take photos while I am taking photos, I want to make sure your child is focused on my camera for the best possible shots.

Policies:

Holding fee: $50 holding fee is required to book a session. The remaining balance is due 48 hours/2 days prior to your session by either cash, venmo or paypal. Once the holding fee is received, the date and time will be held for your session. No-shows will result in loss of deposit. Please contact me within 48 hours if you need to reschedule. Due to covid I am very lenient on rescheduling, please give me as much time as you can as I can often fill the session.

Sickness:

Headshot session rules are similar to school rules. If your child has a fever, has been throwing up within 24 hours of your scheduled session, please contact me asap for a new day/time. Your child will not be at their best and I work with several other children so I do not want to get sick or get other clients sick. I work with newborns and babies as well, so this policy is strictly enforced.

Late to your Session:

As stated above your shoot time is not your arrival time. I strongly recommend arriving 15 minutes early to prepare for the session. Prepare like you are going to an audition, leave time for parking, having a snack, using the restroom etc. If you are late to your shoot, it results in less time, looks, outfit changes, hair changes and ultimately fewer images.
